Philadelphia Inquirer Review of T&C

Maybe Los Lobos’ best disc since 1992’s Kiko, The Town and the City isn’t as adventurous, but it’s a sinewy set dominated by contemplative David Hidalgo songs about the Mexican American experience, on both sides of the border – something the Wolves know a thing or two about. It’s got its fair share of Cesar Rosas dance tunes to keep spirits high.
